I known as KitchenAid's 800 # and was once sent a alternative within a few days. Some reviewers say the alternative is thicker glass than the original. I do not now notice any distinction, now not that I had the two facet by side to check. I am just more than happy that KitchenAid parts are so cheap and simple to return by using.
